Work Camps
Mainly offered in April and May
These Camps are to ready the camp for Summer visitors. The work could include general cleaning, painting, grounds work, cleaning up trails, gathering firewood, fixing outdoor activities, etc.
Logging, clearing trails, Firewood
One of the things that have to be done every year is clear out the dead and weaker trees from our forest so that our forest stays healthy. We also clear trails and make new ones.
This wood is used as firewood for the camp.
General Building Maintenance
It takes constant building maintenance to keep these rustic buildings in shape for visitors. Boards loosen, nails come out, windows break, and many other little things need repairing before guests come to visit.
General cleaning
After sitting all winter all the buildings need a good spring cleaning from top to bottom.
Special Projects
These projects are different every year but some of the projects for this year are to repair the property fencing and stain the manager’s cabin.
